A Virginia college rivalry, Neil Young’s “Harvest Moon,” a fabulous sunset, and a great group of people wearin’ enough cowboy boots to line a country mile set the tone for Debra and John’s wedding in October 2013. The reception was every bit of country charm. Bales of hay placed around the dance floor provided seating for the plum tuckered country line dancers. An old wooden door topped whiskey barrels to host a spread of homemade pies and a coffee bar. Reception tables were named after the bride and groom’s favorite music artists. Guests enjoyed a bit of music history about the artist framed in each table marker. The blue and orange color palette showed their enthusiastic support for their alma maters. Gettin’ this one done was so much fun!
